Suzy Foisy shares her experience of Glo-Mo:

In 2022, I was honoured to be one of the five Glo-Mo winners and experienced the once in a lifetime opportunity to work in our Melbourne and Sydney, Australia offices. From the start, our Australian colleagues and I started to speak about our work, experiences, collaboration opportunities, and what best practices can be shared, via Teams. As I arrive, I felt a warm welcome – the experience did not disappoint!

I felt at home from the moment I walked into their offices. Everyone was very friendly, easygoing, insightful, upbeat, and helpful. We were able to sit down and review each others documentation, which was very similar due to using our standard templates from Templafy. I was provided with the opportunity to shadow their EAs to see what they do on a daily basis: candidate & client care, responding to email, SalesForce, join in EAs meetings, proofread documentation, help with research, build a Board Proposal template, assist with their photography day, etc. It was a fantastic opportunity to trade tips and tricks.

Overall, this was an incredible, enlightening experience that I highly recommend to all of our colleagues across the globe. I returned to Canada feeling informed, grateful, and blessed, and of course keen to continue representing Odgers Berndtson.
